MIDDNIGHT ON MAIN - a great opportunity for families and for kids from 1-92
Middletown has done it again - created yet another reason to be a destination for fun and excitement. This time we are talking the creation of a new New Year's Eve tradition. Middletown could have many nicknames - the city that works, or the city where people actually come together, or now, the place to be on New Year's Eve.
I personally know the people actively working to make this event a huge success. Middletown already has a great reputation for getting things done - just like Middlesex United Way. The emphasis on family fun is consistent with our own 5 year goals. United Way works in Middletown and throughout the county to encourage healthy outlets for individuals and families. What better way to start the new year than to experience a wide range of fun activities with family and friends. African drumming (got it); ping pong (do it); live music (all kinds); hula hooping (try it for the first time all over again);cooking, chess, roller skating, films - got it, got it, got it.
Click here to go to the Middnight on Main site to learn about all the events, to buy a button or to volunteer (volunteers work shifts and then can go to all the events for free!).
