AUDIT COMMITTEE  

  • Appoint independent auditor
  • Review with Management and Board of Directors the finding and recommendations of the auditor

  • Appoint and oversee the operation of committees

COMMUNITY IMPACT COUNCIL    

  • Recommend funding for all partners
  • Recommend funding priorities

COMMUNITY IMPACT TEAMS    

Responsible for developing measurable community level outcomes and funding decisions in four focus areas:

  • Education Impact Team - Vision: Students succeed academically – Chair Kit Bishop
  • Income Impact Team – Vision: Individuals and families are economically stable
  • Health/Positive Youth Development Impact Team – Vision: Youth and adults avoid risky behaviors - Chair Lisa Mason
  • Health/Wellness Impact Team – Individuals and families are healthy and safe - Chair Astrid Lebron
  • Housing Impact Team– Individuals and families have safe and affordable housing - Chair Andy Rapp

  • Set strategic direction for the organization
  • Meet in between board meetings to review critical issues

FINANCE    

Review and monitor financial operations and investments
Recommend total agency, administration and capital budgets

INVESTMENT  

  •  Make decisions about the allocation and investment of funds in the endowment
  • Recommend income to be spent on programs
  • Develop investment policy statement
  • Monitor performance of investments
  • Promote the endowment to attract planned gifts

NOMINATING  

  • Seek out and nominate candidates for officers and directors
  • Determine Community Service Award recipient

HUMAN RESOURCES  

  • Formulate personnel policies and benefits for Board approval
  • Recommend staffing requirements & salary ranges

RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL 

  • Plan and implement the annual community campaign
  • Seek additional revenue as appropriate including sponsorships,, special events and grants

YOUNG LEADERS SOCIETY

Develop opportunities for young professionals (40 and under) to connect to United Way and give back to the community
