Best Beginnings -- Clinton's Preschool Initiative Registration Fair on Saturday, September 20 at The Morgan School Best Beginnings will hold its third annual registration fair for parents and their children, ages 0-5, on Saturday, September 20th at the Morgan School cafeteria from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Fun activities and exhibits include music, touch tank with fish, playdough table, a nutritious snack prep area, car seat checks, an obstacle course, and much more for the whole family.
The fair is a free event but a collection of nonperishable food items including baby formula and diapers will be made. Area early education and care centers, pediatric practices, and local private and public agencies will be represented. Information about parenting will be distributed. Answers to questions about child development, child rearing, and discipline concerns will be given.

The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries is experiencing a 43% increase in meals served over this time in 2007. Due to this increased need several sites have increased hours to meet the need, or changed days completely, for serving community meals and grocery distribution.
