You asked us to have a more long-term impact on our county’s most serious problems. As donors, volunteers, and community members, you valued our role ensuring that a range of needed, critical human care services were in place to help local children, families, and adults. However, you also wanted us to broaden the scope of our work and reduce the need for the services we fund.
To do this, we had to:
Identify our county’s most pressing concerns and the issues that matter to our residents and employees
Bring together the right partners to find the best solutions to these top concerns
Work more closely on a town and regional basis to serve local residents and improve community life
After many years of hard work and collaboration, we’re addressing the issues our community has identified as most critical. We’re mobilizing the caring power of communities in new ways – working with new partners on prevention-based approaches that can bring about long-term, positive change. Together with our donors, volunteers and funding partners, we are strengthening lives and helping people.
