More than 40 companies and organizations will be honored May 9 at the Middlesex United Way Campaign Awards Breakfast for their incredible support during 2018-19.
Our highest campaign honor, the Corporate Spirit Award, will be presented to Liberty Bank. This award recognizes a company that has established a strong culture of philanthropy and support of Middlesex United Way.
Some of the other top awards will be given to Sandy Phillips, Barbara Thompson and Kelly Haeckel from Middlesex Health, who will be honored as coordinators of the year. Mike Weaver of Standard-Knapp will receive the leadership award, and St. Vincent de Paul Middletown will be honored with the Funding Partner Achievement Award.
We will also be awarding Brown & Brown CT with the Small Business Community Partnership Award, Clinton Youth and Family Services Bureau with the Social Media Shout Out Award, and FedEx with the Special Achievement Award. These three achieved great strides and distinguished results for the campaign.
