The Women’s Initiative is a volunteer-based group whose mission is to bring about positive change in our community through philanthropy and service.

We focus on strengthening three areas affecting the lives of women and children in Middlesex County:

  • Empowering Women: Ensuring that women have the resources and support they need to make healthy choices.

  • Financial Stability: Ensuring that women of all ages have the education and tools to be independent and self-sufficient.

  • Childhood Development: Ensuring that parents and children have the resources they need for healthy development.

We build community engagement by sharing and creating volunteer and philanthropic giving opportunities.

We elevate women by recognizing and celebrating accomplishments, past and present.

We invest in our community by making grants to local programs that support one or more of our focus areas.

We empower each other as professionals, caregivers, leaders, and friends.
