Local Impact:
- 335 families (including 370 children) at risk of homelessness have remained in their homes since 2008, thanks to assistance from the Middlesex County Coalition on Housing & Homelessness, a Middlesex United Way partner
- A 24% reduction in length of stay at the Eddy Shelter for homeless adults indicates that shelter residents were more quickly connected to support services (which are more effective and less expensive long-term)
- 1,835 phone calls from Middlesex County residents needing assistance with housing and utilities were answered by United Way 2-1-1 last year
